The new INFINITI Q50 is available with two powertrains, and the Genesis G70 is available with two as well. Both sedans also feature standard rear-wheel drive drivetrains but are also available with all-wheel drive drivetrain configurations. The most powerful engine of the 2021 Q50 lineup is a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine that produces 400 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. Similarly, the Genesis G70 is available with a twin-turbocharged 3.3-liter V6 engine that produces 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. The INFINITI Q50 and Genesis G70 both have their engines paired with automatic transmission options only, with the Q50 using a seven-speed automatic transmission and the G70 using an eight-speed automatic transmission.

Passenger and Cargo Space

The 2021 INFINITI Q50 and 2021 Genesis G70 are both comfortable four-door sedans to ride in. However, the Q50 is slightly larger than the G70, allowing it to provide more headroom and legroom to its occupants. The 2021 Q50 offers up to 100 cubic-feet of passenger volume, while the 2021 G70 provides up to 93.8 cubic-feet of passenger volume. The new INFINITI Q50 includes up to 13.5 cubic-feet of cargo space and the new Genesis G70 offers up to 10.5 cubic-feet of cargo space. While still plentiful for many customers some configurations of the Q50 only allow up to 13.2 cubic-feet of cargo to fit, however.

The new INFINITI Q50 and new Genesis G70 are both luxurious sedans that are packed with great advanced technology features. The infotainment system of the new INFINITI Q50 can be accessed through a dual-touchscreen display. The Genesis G70 provides an 8.0-inch touchscreen display for its infotainment system. Both of the infotainment systems in the Q50 and G70 are equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Navigation can easily be accessed through the display of the Q50.
