Debuting in the 2014 model year, the Q50 succeeded the long-running and popular G model as the compact four-door sedan offering from Nissan’s luxury marquee, INFINITI. The 2020 model has a pair of changes: the base-level 2.0T Pure trim is gone, and the infotainment system has been revised with a new interface and smartphone integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The four trim levels available are the Pure, Luxe, Sport, and Red Sport.
Performance
Typically, the 2020 INFINITI Q50 runs on a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 engine, which produces 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The Red Sport stands out with its V6 engine, which includes two turbo speed sensors and dual water pumps. The Red Sport engine variant pumps out 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. Hitched to the engine is an electronically controlled 7-speed automatic transmission, and you can choose between a rear-wheel drive and an all-wheel-drive system.
Interior and Features
The 2020 INFINITI Q50 has two rows of seats for accommodating up to five people. Leather seating, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and aluminum-accented foot pedals are standard.
