What Happens When We "Dealer Trade" a Car in For You?

Infiniti of Gwinnett has been one of the largest Infiniti dealer in the southeast for the past several years.  We are three time winners of the exclusive Infiniti "Award for Excellence".  Only 23 Infiniti dealers in the entire nation have achieved this award. Achieving an "Excellent" recommendation from you is always our goal!

• We continuously maintain one of the largest inventories of new Infiniti products in the southeast. Because most outlying Infiniti dealerships in our region regularly sell out of our inventory we have great relationships with them and can usually expeditiously fill your specific vehicle order needs. They buy from us more often than we buy from them.
  
  
• It is important to remember that factory incentives/ interest programs, and special factory programs take affect on the date you take delivery and sign the contract on your new vehicle.
  
  
• We will be happy to special order a vehicle from Infiniti to fill your needs. However, you must be aware that the current factory incentive and lease programs may not be in effect when your special ordered vehicle arrives. Factory incentive and lease programs typically change at the beginning of every month. Infiniti of Gwinnett has no control over, or prior knowledge of these program changes.
  
  
• On all factory special orders you do receive factory "Price Protection" to protect you from any factory price increases while your vehicle is incoming. Special orders typically take 2 - 3 months till delivery.
  
  

Here's How a Dealer Trade Works...

We believe that effective communication is one of the keys to extraordinary customer satisfaction. Your sales professional will keep in regular contact with you throughout the process. We don't want any surprises!

1. If we do not happen to have the exact vehicle in stock that you desire we can go to the Infiniti master computer system and look up the vehicle most like the one you wish to purchase.  It helps if you can give us a first choice color/equipment combination and a "fall back" color/equipment combination if we cannot find your first choice.
   
   Because of the availability of Infiniti's sophisticated locator computer system, we can also check incoming inventories here and throughout the USA over the next couple of months. If we can arrange a "Sea Swap" of a vehicle for you, there will be no transportation costs to you.  Thus, it is important for you to let us know how soon you desire to take delivery of your new Infiniti.
   

   
   We do require a small $500 deposit as security on your purchase in order to start the process of locating your vehicle for you.

   
   
2. Once you make a commitment to purchase we will contact the dealer who has your vehicle in stock and work to arrange the trade. In some cases a vehicle that shows up on the computer system as "available" for sale may be sold by the other dealer before we ask to purchase it for you. In that case we will move on to the next closest vehicle, or to your alternate choice vehicle. before we finalize the trade we will contact you if there are any exceptions.
   
   
3. Our first option is to try to stay as close to the Atlanta area as possible to help keep your transportation costs down. The further we have to go to get a vehicle for you, the more it costs. If we purchase a vehicle for you from a local Atlanta area dealer we do not charge a transportation fee. the vehicle will be "Courtesy Driven" here from the local dealer by a professional transport person and will have minor local mileage on the odometer. Your factory warranty starts with the mileage on your contract.
   
   
4. If we transport a vehicle from a dealer in an outlying area we always use a professional transport company. They pull your vehicle onto their slide back truck for transport. The vehicle will arrive here with whatever few miles it has on the odometer at the dealership we purchased it from. Because we do so much business with our transport vendor, we are able to offer you very competitive rates to professionally transport your car here for you.
   
   
5. Your vehicle will be inspected by the transport professional before it is loaded as well as being inspected by our prep manager when it arrives here. We can assure you there will be no surprises!  At Infiniti of Gwinnett we are the only dealer in the southeast to perform at no cost to you an additional complete Infiniti new vehicle prep procedure on every vehicle we dealer trade in so you can rest assured that our qualified staff of master technicians has properly inspected your new vehicle for you even though the factory paid the dealer we purchased the vehicle from to perform the original factory prep service process.
   
   
6. Before your scheduled delivery appointment we will have your vehicle cleaned by our professional detail team. We want it to be "Showroom Ready" for your delivery. Your vehicle will be inspected thoroughly before you arrive.
   
   
7. We will agree on a specific appointment time for your delivery presentation. We will work to pre-prepare as much paperwork, obtain financing pre-approval, etc. So your delivery experience is as fast and user friendly as possible.
   
   
8. If it is your intention for us to handle your finance / lease transaction we will work to have all financial paperwork pre-approved and ready for your signature at the time of delivery.  If you will be arranging your funds thru an outside source, you will be contacted by one of our business managers who will review your financial options and our requirements with you prior to your delivery appointment.
